These terms govern access to the public Amiko website and the product, evidence and integration information made available here. They do not govern live use of the Respiro platform, patient app, dashboards, SDKs, APIs or connected-device services.
Last updated: 22 June 2026.
These Website Terms are an agreement between you and Amiko Srl ("Amiko", "we", "us"), a company based in Milan, Italy and the operator of amiko.io. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
These terms cover the website, public product information, public evidence materials, public company information, contact forms and any downloadable or linked materials that we make available without a separate agreement.
They do not create a right to use Respiro, Respiro Connect, any connected inhaler, patient app, dashboard, API, SDK, algorithm, dataset, clinical-trial service, support service or white-label product. Those products and services are governed by the applicable product terms, customer agreement, study documentation, app terms, data processing agreement, business associate agreement or integration documentation, as applicable.
The website is provided for general business, scientific and informational purposes. We try to keep information accurate and current, but website content may include summaries, preliminary positioning, product concepts, future-looking statements, early renderings, simplified diagrams or descriptions that change as products, evidence and regulatory pathways evolve.
References to Respiro, Respiro Connect, RS01X, add-on sensors, patient apps, dashboards, APIs, SDKs, webhooks, breathing-risk indicators, adherence summaries, inhalation-technique scores or evidence outputs describe capabilities at a general level. The actual specifications, compatible inhalers, supported countries, data fields, clinical claims, intended use, labelling, regulatory status and availability may vary by product, market, customer configuration and contract.
Nothing on this website is an offer to sell or supply a regulated medical device, software as a medical device, clinical-trial service or healthcare service in any country where it is not authorised, cleared, CE-marked, exempt, investigational or otherwise lawfully available for the relevant use.
This website does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing guidance or emergency support. Patients should contact a qualified healthcare professional with questions about symptoms, medication, inhaler technique, treatment changes or respiratory control. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
Respiro-related information on the website is intended to explain connected respiratory technology and potential workflows. It should not be used as the sole basis for clinical decisions, patient selection, diagnosis, treatment, reimbursement, research endpoints or regulatory submissions. Respiro is not an emergency-monitoring service unless an applicable written agreement and product labelling expressly say otherwise.
Healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical companies, partners and researchers should verify claims, intended use, validation scope, product instructions and regulatory status through the relevant Amiko documentation and agreement before relying on them.
If you submit information through the website, you confirm that it is accurate, lawful and that you have the right to provide it. Do not send patient health data, medical records, study subject data, confidential business information, trade secrets or proprietary technical materials through the public website form unless we have agreed an appropriate channel and confidentiality terms.
Unsolicited ideas, proposals, device concepts, algorithms, product suggestions or other materials sent without a written confidentiality agreement may be treated as non-confidential. We are free to use general ideas, feedback and suggestions you provide about the website or public materials without obligation to you, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
The website, including text, graphics, logos, product names, illustrations, diagrams, photographs, animations, software-related materials, evidence summaries and other content, is owned by Amiko or its licensors unless stated otherwise.
You may view and share public website pages for ordinary informational purposes. You may not copy, modify, scrape, reverse engineer, republish, train models on, create derivative works from or commercially exploit website content without permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
Third-party product names, company names, trademarks, inhaler references, publications and conference references belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on the website does not imply endorsement, partnership or approval unless expressly stated.
You agree not to misuse the website. This includes attempting to interfere with security, overload infrastructure, introduce malicious code, collect data by automated means in a disruptive way, impersonate another person, misrepresent your organisation, probe systems without authorisation, bypass access controls or submit unlawful, misleading, infringing or harmful content.
You must not use the website or its materials in a way that violates export-control, sanctions, anti-corruption, privacy or consumer-protection laws that apply to you.
If you believe you have found a security issue, please report it responsibly through our contact channels and do not access, modify, disclose or retain data that is not yours.
The website may link to third-party websites, publications, conference pages, legacy materials, partner materials, manufacturer information or external product references. Those links are provided for convenience and context. Amiko is not responsible for third-party websites, their content, their availability or their privacy practices.
Publication summaries and evidence references are provided as short signposts. Always review the original publication, abstract, poster, protocol or regulatory document before relying on a scientific or clinical statement.
We handle personal data collected through the website as described in our Privacy Policy, which also explains the website's cookieless approach to analytics.
These Website Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, and the courts of Milan have jurisdiction over any dispute about them, without affecting any mandatory rights you have under the law of your own country, which these terms do not limit.
Legal requirements for websites, privacy and consumer rights vary by country. Mandatory rights you have under the law of your own country are not limited by these terms.
We may update, suspend or remove website content at any time. The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Amiko will not be liable for loss or damage arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this website or public materials. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or other liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when this version was last updated. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the updated terms.
Questions about these terms can be sent through the website contact form or to legal@amiko.io.
