The Health-i initiative, run by Handelsblatt and Techniker Krankenkasse (Germany's largest public health insurer), set out to find the digital-health ideas most likely to change the system. From 160 entries, judged against criteria set by Prof. Roland Trill of Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, we were named one of three finalists.
Founded in 2015, we build hardware-enabled digital medicines. By then Respiro, our smart-inhaler platform, had been put to work in studies and commercial programmes across Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Germany, with early results showing better adherence and inhaler technique and less reliance on reliever medication.
